The brief was river-flow symmetry for coastal eco-tourism — not forest hunt scatter, not sun-moon celestial arch. Mangrove kayak is a translation problem: how do prop-root tangles, horizontal hull, fish dashes, and a smartphone photographer read inside Warli monochrome without looking like a travel brochure photo pasted on geru? River-flow was the fix — horizontal water bands and centre kayak echo classical Bamboo Bridge Cross and Boat Crossing River while mangrove root clusters replace circle-canopy trees with coastal vocabulary. What we refused: perspective depth, kayak brand colours, tarpa spiral, chauk square. What we kept legible: diagonal paddle stroke, fish almond icons in water dashes, wading bird right, shore pair with phone rectangle and paddle companion, V-birds in sky gap. Light density preserves estuary air between root tangles.
