Heinkel He 100 Cutaway Poster — He 100 D-1 WW2 Split-View Blueprint Print

Balkenkreuz on the left and a DB 601 rib cage on the right — the He 100 earns rank-forty-five cutaway drama because it could outrun the Bf 109 on paper and at record speeds while Göring's procurement office pretended the competition never happened.

Rank 45 documents the Heinkel He 100 D-1 — the sleek low-drag fighter that Ernst Heinkel built to win the 1937 Reichsluftfahrtministerium competition and then kept flying when the contract went to Messerschmitt. Powered by the Daimler-Benz DB 601 and cooled by an evaporative system that eliminated radiator drag, the He 100 set world speed records above 746 km/h in 1939 — faster than any production Bf 109 of the era. Political preference and Messerschmitt's existing production lines limited He 100 output to roughly two dozen aircraft, most repainted as He 113 propaganda props or used as high-speed test beds. Split-view blueprint art renders the Balkenkreuz exterior and wireframe DB 601 lattice exactly as the master PNG dictates.

  • Black frame on deep forest or charcoal walls — Balkenkreuz and wireframe lines stay true without overpowering neutral upholstery
  • Pair with Bf 109 G-6 or Fw 190A cutaway prints at matching A2 for Luftwaffe fighter grid
  • Hang above a credenza at eye level; the top-down split-view and HEINKEL 100 decal read best with half a metre stand-off
  • Natural-oak frame suits study walls where forest plate echoes wood tones beside aviation bookshelves
  • Stack A3 beside Dewoitine D.520 for 1939–40 contemporary fighter contrast without competing decal fields
  • Avoid competing green decor directly beside the camouflage if you want Luftwaffe tones to stay accurate
