Mitsubishi A6M Zero Cutaway Poster — A6M5 Model 52 WW2 Split-View Blueprint Print

Hinomaru red on the left and a Sakae cylinder row on the right — the A6M5 Zero earns rank-twenty-three cutaway drama because Mitsubishi's carrier fighter ruled the Pacific sky long enough to become the silhouette every Allied pilot learned to respect before the type's agility advantage finally met American horsepower and armour.

Rank 23 centres the Mitsubishi A6M5 Zero Model 52 — the refined carrier fighter that carried IJN air superiority from Pearl Harbor through the Solomons before American F6F Hellcat and F4U Corsair types reversed the exchange ratio in 1943–44. Powered by the Nakajima Sakae 21 engine with individual exhaust stacks for modest thrust gains, the A6M5 reinforced wing structure and shortened wingspan traded some range for roll rate and dive recovery compared with earlier A6M2 variants. The 252nd Kokutai insignia on the plate honours IJN units that flew Zeroes from Rabaul and the Marianas. Split-view blueprint art renders the hinomaru exterior and Sakae wireframe lattice exactly as the master PNG dictates.

  • Black frame on deep forest or charcoal walls — hinomaru red and wireframe lines stay true without overpowering neutral upholstery
  • Pair with Ki-84 Hayate or F6F-5 Hellcat cutaway prints at matching A2 for Pacific fighter rivalry grid
  • Hang above a credenza at eye level; the hinomaru wing disc reads best with half a metre stand-off
  • Natural-oak frame suits study walls where forest plate echoes wood tones beside aviation bookshelves
  • Stack A3 beside Spitfire Mk IX for early-war Allied-versus-Axis fighter contrast
  • Avoid saturated red decor directly beside the hinomaru if you want IJN green tones to stay accurate
