Steady Gaze — 2 museum-grade prints that set the mood. Pattachitra is the cloth-scroll painting tradition of Odisha, bound closely to the Jagannath temple at Puri and the chitrakar families of Raghurajpur. Painters use five mineral colours on patta — cotton stiffened with tamarind-seed paste and chalk: conch-white (sankha), lamp-black (kalia), haritala yellow, hingula red and geru brick-orange.
