The brief was to make a humble morning still-life sit as a ritual medallion: a kettle, two tumblers, the steam, the hearth — nothing more. We let the steam curl up as two rice-paste scrolls and set a small lotus on the kettle's belly so it reads as ornament rather than a copied object, then grounded the whole on a flame band, because in a hill home the hearth is where the day begins. The dotted ring and cardinal lotus-sprays frame it like any aipan chowki, which is the quiet joke — the everyday cup gets the geometry of a deity's seat. Medium-light fill keeps the kettle, glasses and steam legible with geru breathing around them. White biswar on geru, nothing else.
