The brief was the home mandir as most families actually keep it: a small seated deity in an arched niche on a low shelf, a bell to ring, a diya on its stand, and a tulsi pot — gathered inside one lotus-petal mandala rather than spread into a busy altar. We held the fill near half so the geru ground shows around the shelf and inside the ring, the way a quiet corner reads in the morning before the lamp is lit. The puja corner is where Aipan's devotional purpose lives day to day, so drawing the shelf itself in biswar line closes the loop — the same craft that paints the threshold and the festival floor here frames the household deity. The lotus ring and vine border are the tradition's framing vocabulary; the bell, lamp, and tulsi are the everyday objects of worship. White biswar on geru, no second colour.
