Mazda Wall Art

Mazda — 3 museum-grade prints across the catalogue. Mazda's 1991 Le Mans victory with the 787B remains unique in Sarthe history — no other rotary-powered car has won outright. The Renown livery's orange-and-green stitch pattern became motorsport graphic design canon, and the R26B's 9,000 rpm scream created a sensory memory that defines Group C for an entire generation of Japanese motorsport fans. Mazda's Group B RX-7 programme represented the marque's most visible rotary rally effort outside Japan — a Rothmans-sponsored campaign that leveraged the FB platform's lightweight coupe architecture against turbocharged piston rivals. The 13B engine's compact dimensions and high-revving character offered a distinct driving philosophy on gravel stages, even as Group B's escalating power and safety concerns reshaped the FIA rulebook. The Mazda 323 GTR represented Japan's turbo hatch homologation ambition in Group A — a compact four-wheel-drive platform that let Mazda compete against Lancia Delta and Toyota Celica turbo programs on realistic factory budgets. Rothmans sponsorship made the livery instantly recognizable on early-1990s rally broadcasts, while the GTR badge signaled the ultimate evolution of the 323 GTX lineage before WRC regulations shifted toward modern factory programs.
