DESIGN BRIEF: harvest-procession symmetry for a classical new-year fete — not the marketplace default where every festival panel collapses into a tarpa musician at centre whether the subject is ploughing or passport control. Talasari new-year grammar means linked-hand walking lines, drum figures at the lead, ceremonial staff with sun-disc crown, and a chauk mat with kalash at the ritual base — the way rice-paste walls once separated harvest thanksgiving from the concentric dance ring reserved for marriage and post-harvest eve. Three horizontal tiers stack village context above, procession across the middle, musicians and chauk below. What we refused: tarpa concentric spiral, central dance ring with musician hub, perspective depth, multicolor fill. What we kept legible: dhol horizontal drum, pot-on-head dancer, rooster crown figure, wind and tambourine players, diamond-pattern chauk mat, goat and bird ground fauna. Light-mid density (~48% fill) lets ochre breathe between tiers while keeping procession rhythm readable.
