DESIGN BRIEF: the translation problem was a wedding-day portrait sharing a wall with the everyday transport that gathers the baraat. We kept the bride and her attendants pure classical Pithora — a tall front-facing figure heavy with white-dotted silver, a spiked crown, a marigold garland arced above — and let the modern village come in only at the base, a green tractor and a long yellow bus flattened into the same outline, no logos, no chrome. At medium-light density the bride holds the centre while the lower band of vehicles, dancers and cattle reads as the gathering crowd. Among the Rathwa of Chhota Udepur the bride's silver is real wealth and real ceremony, and the bus is the real way the guests arrive; setting the two on one wall is the fusion's point — the old day in the new village.

  • Natural-oak frame on cream or warm-white walls keeps the bride's silver and the marigold garland warm
  • Hang at eye level in a bedroom or dressing area where the central figure reads as a portrait
  • Pairs with mehndi-courtyard and wedding-pavilion-mandap for a wedding-day trio
  • Stack beside rathwa-chul-fire-leap so the Rathwa ceremony theme carries across frames
  • Black frame echoes the confident outline when the room has dark wood
