We briefed this as a diptych-mirror because the Rama-Ravana yuddha is fundamentally two chariots facing off, and Cheriyal loves a clean confrontation across the cloth. Rama's white-horse chariot anchors the left, Ravana's three-horse chariot the right, and the volley of white arrows draws the line of force straight across the vermilion gap so the duel reads in an instant. The ten heads are the picture's whole problem and pleasure — we fanned them in a crowned stack so Ravana stays terrifyingly legible without crowding Rama out. The marching vanara army gets its own lower register, the old Cheriyal way of stacking a sequence, so the war has both its single decisive beat and its crowd. Flat indigo against red, white arrows, no shading — the Nakashi grammar carries the drama on colour and line alone.
