We briefed this as a single procession-row because Peerla Panduga is a moving event, and Cheriyal scrolls always carried a festival as one readable line rather than a documentary mass. The alam panjas — the silver open-hand standards — are the obvious vertical anchors, so we raised four of them garlanded across the top band and let the drummers and the brick fire-pit set the rhythm below. Keeping the cast mixed and folk-scaled matters here: this is a shared-faith village festival where Hindu and Muslim families both walk, so the lotus-eyed profiles and the flat-red ground frame it as community, not reportage. Medium fill leaves the vermilion breathing between poles so each garlanded panja and green flag reads, while the fire at far left gives the line a heat-source and a start.
