The brief was to dignify a humble object: the woven tray of Harela sprouts a Kumaoni family carries from house to house, the pale seedlings tucked behind ears and over doorways. We drew the basket with a real banded, cross-hatched weave so it reads as a tray and not a generic pot, packed it with fine fanning seedlings, and scattered three-dot blessing florets through the ground around them. A conch on each side and a swastika below each keep the everyday object inside the rite's vocabulary. Medium-light fill lets the geru breathe around the medallion so the basket sits cleanly. Where the festival-motif piece centres a kalash, this one centres the tray actually carried in the procession of blessing. White biswar on geru, nothing else.
