DESIGN BRIEF: the brief was to draw the Guar memorial as a single readable transaction, not a crowd scene. So the layout stacks it vertically — sun and moon and the tree of life crown the top, the seated ancestors get the sheltered house-shrine in the upper-middle, and the buffalo offering anchors dead centre at the bottom where the eye finally lands. We held it to medium fill with a bold open fish-net frame rather than the merged mesh imitators reach for, so every mourner row, every pot on a head, the weighing-scales and the tethered buffalo stay legible. The figures are rounded and faceless and bent at the knee in the proper Lanjia Saura grammar — never Warli's joined triangles — joined hand-to-hand in the dancing base register. The Guar feast is how the Sora release a recently dead kinsman into the company of the ancestors, and we kept that gravity: the brick-red ground breathing between the rows is part of the rite, not empty space.
