Rank 93 in the Aviation Heroes collection, this print treats the Panavia Tornado GR4 as the RAF swing-wing strike platform it was for thirty-five years — not as anonymous grey jet wallpaper. No. 31 Squadron Goldstars flew the Tornado from RAF Brüggen through the Cold War, moved home to RAF Marham in August 2001 as the last RAF unit to leave Germany, and led Brimstone integration before the type's final disbandment parade on 14 March 2019. Here the Tonka climbs away in swept-wing configuration: RAF roundels, tail code 31, external tanks and pods under the wings, and the Goldstars emblem where Marham crews knew to look on the fin.
