The Ferrari Enzo was produced from 2002 to 2004 in an edition of 399 units plus one additional example donated to charity, each assembled using Formula One development technology including carbon fibre construction, a carbon fibre and Nomex honeycomb monocoque, and a 5,998cc V12 engine producing 660 horsepower that drove the rear wheels through a six-speed F1 sequential paddle-shift transmission. Pininfarina's design derived directly from the Ferrari Formula One car of the period — the nose, the butterfly doors, the underbody ground-effect aerodynamics, and the carbon-ceramic Brembo brakes were all F1 technology in road legal packaging. Heritage Icons renders the Enzo in a split format: postage-stamp left column (denomination 2.00 — a private joke for the owners who know the actual cost ran to somewhat more than two euros) and a tall italic FERRARI / ENZO vertical right column above the specimen text.
