Bharni was the right style — bold lamp-black outlines and flat terracotta fills let a café object read at poster distance the way wedding-wall peacocks do. Central-medallion symmetry solved the layout: the cup sits on a harlequin table ground like a ritual object on an Aripana floor, while steam becomes sacred plumage so the eye reads upward through seven feather eyes instead of a wisp of grey vapor. Corner peacocks and the scalloped arch borrow temple-niche framing; the coffee-bean border grid replaces classical fish-scale cells with a morning-ritual vocabulary that still respects medium fill density.
